A broad-purpose residence permit granted for up to 2 years in Turkey, available for various reasons.

- Foreigners owning property in Turkey
- Those visiting for business, fairs or meetings
- Scientific researchers
- Students taking Turkish language courses
- Those receiving medical treatment
- Foreigners with Turkish relatives
- Investors with significant business links
Duration
Up to 1 year on first application, up to 2 years on renewals. Foreigners with total residence exceeding 8 years can apply for long-term residence permit.
Required Documents
- e-İkamet application form
- Passport (6 months validity, at least 60 days blank)
- 4 biometric photos
- Valid health insurance
- Address proof (title deed, lease, or accommodation document)
- Statement of sufficient and regular financial means
- Additional documents specific to the application purpose
